How long is a mini session?
Mini sessions are about 20 minutes long. Just enough time to capture great photos without anyone getting tired or restless — especially little kids.

What’s included in a mini session?
Each session includes the shoot, light editing, and a downloadable online gallery of about 20-30+ high-resolution images. You’ll get a mix of posed shots and natural, candid moments.

How much does a mini session cost?
A mini session is $500 + tax. This covers everything: the 20-minute session, light editing, and a downloadable gallery of about 20-30+ high-resolution images. There are no hidden fees or additional purchases required. If you’re looking for something longer or more flexible, I also offer full sessions.

Where do the photo sessions take place?
Mini sessions are held at a handful of outdoor locations around Nashville that I’ve hand-picked for their great lighting and clean, natural backgrounds. When you book, I’ll send you a list of spots to choose from — all are tried-and-true favorites that photograph beautifully.

What should we wear?
Go for coordinated, not matching. Soft, neutral colors tend to photograph really well, and while patterns and textures are totally ok, you’ll want to avoid anything too busy or logo-heavy, as well as ultra bright colors such as hot pinks, bright reds, neon oranges, etc. If you’re unsure, take a look at my Instagram for inspiration from recent sessions.

How long does it take to get the photos back?
You’ll receive your finished gallery within about 4-5 weeks after the session, though often sooner. I know how exciting it is to see the photos, so I do my best to get them to you quickly without rushing the edit.

Can I bring my dog or kids’ cousins and/or grandparents?
Mini sessions are designed for single families only (usually parents and their children) due to the limited time for each session. With only 20 minutes to work, it's important to keep things focused. If you're looking to include extended family members, multiple families, or pets, a Standard Session would be a better fit!

What if it rains?
If it looks like rain, we’ll reschedule; no stress, no extra charge. I keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session and always communicate with you to make the call with plenty of notice.
